I love gift giving. Not for the warm fuzzy feeling, nope, I love gift giving because I make it into a competitive sport and I most always win…to the point where I get mad when AJ gives me a good thoughtful gift. He can’t win. Never.
Is there anyone else in the world that feels like this? Or is this just my weird blend of being type-A and basically a completely [chaotic] evil being. I’m basically a Sontaran at heart.
Anyway, it’s basically the season of gifting. We have weddings. We have tons of birthdays. Of course Christmas is just around the corner. So I put together the Doctor Who Baker Essentials (Do you get it!? Baker!? Oh, I’m clever.) All of these gifts are essential for any Whovian’s kitchen. Your kitchen might even be fantastic if you buy these for yourself. Sorry, but it’s seriously hard to talk about Doctor Who without using the character’s taglines!
These gifts would be great alone, and even better grouped together as one epic gift.
The Official Doctor Who Cookbook-
This book is ridiculous. I honestly will never make a recipe out of it, but it’s so much fun to own. Plus, all the recipes are really British, so the ingredients make you scratch your head quite a bit. This cookbook almost reminds me of those weird cooking books from the 50’s riddled with absolutely terrible ideas, but it’s adorable, and relatively cheap. It should be around $10.
Doctor Who Cookie Cutters-
What!? These exist!? You betcha! This comes in a set of 5 for $15, but ThinkGeek sells them and they almost always have sales so you can probably get them even cheaper. These are the kind that leave an outline and an impression for epic detail.
Police Box Sprinkles-
The Geeky Hostess has seriously epic sprinkles. Use coupon code “domesticgeek” to receive 20% off of your order at geekyhostess.com/shop You can see her lightning bolt sprinkles in action in this Butterbeer float recipe!
