Homemade chocolate syrup for homemade chocolate milk
 
 
Ingredients
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • ⅔ cup cocoa powder
  • splash of vanilla
Instructions
  1. Whisk sugar into the water in a big pot, add cocoa powder and heat on medium/high heat until boiling.
  2. Once boiling, whisk constantly for 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, add vanilla once cool.
  4. Pour into a mason jar and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  5. Stir a spoonful into milk or coffee, or drizzle on top of ice cream or other treats.
