So it’s kind of cold outside. Here in Wisconsin Aliceana and I are staying indoors. It’s definitely going to be a lazy Sunday (and Monday and Tuesday) full of blanket forts, Netflix marathons, and raspberry hot cocoa.
I made my own hot cocoa recipe, and you’ll never guess how simple it is! All you need is sugar, cocoa powder, and milk. The hot cocoa you buy in the store has 10+ ingredients including corn syrup. No thank you!
Homemade hot cocoa has a rich decadent taste. It’s definitely the perfect beverage to get us through these next couple cold days. I’ll be enjoying a cup while cheering on the Packers later today. Go Pack Go!
If you want to take your hot cocoa a step further, you can add some extra flavors like I did. I was putting away the ingredients and just about to sit down to enjoy my hot cocoa when my hand bumped the organic raspberry syrup. I don’t know about you, but I think chocolate and raspberry is the perfect combination. A couple drops of raspberry syrup and this is the perfect treat to take your mind off the cold!
Raspberry hot cocoa is definitely a hit with our family. If your kids are jealous of your fancy coffees they’ll love being able to enjoy this decadent drink.
Save money and enjoy tastier, healthier hot cocoa with the recipe below!
