After dinner one night my husband turned to me and said, “I have the greatest idea.” Then he headed downstairs and I figured he was grabbing ice cream from our deep freezer.
Then he grabbed the Cookie Butter.
And we made the best milkshakes I have ever tasted! I can now say that you haven’t truly experienced Cookie Butter until you’ve had it in a milkshake.
If you haven’t tried Cookie Butter yet, it’s the tastiest spread ever from Trader Joe’s, I think it tastes like Teddy Graham’s. Go buy some immediately. You won’t regret it!
I have to say that AJ and I are officially addicted to Trader Joe’s, we’ve only been able to go 3 times, but we love almost everything we’ve tried.
The Cookie Butter milk shake was probably the quickest and easiest dessert I’ve ever made, here’s the recipe. Here is a quick affiliate link if you need to find a good blender.

Ingredients
Method
- Blend well. You can use more or less Cookie Butter depending on how rich you want it to taste, 3/4 cup was perfect for us.
- Top with Whipped Cream and enjoy!

omg this looks so good, Brittany!! I love milkshakes <3
You have to go make this now then! It’s as good as it looks, actually it’s way better than it looks!
This sounds good. We recently discovered that trader joe’s also has crunchy cookie butter.
I have some in my pantry that we have yet to open! I hope it’s as good or better than the original!
You’re tempting me…. 😉
I like milkshakes.. I like cookies… I like butter… Maybe, just maybe I would like a cookie butter milkshake???
OK… you twisted my arm.. I will have to try this at least once.
You definitely have to try this! I bet you’ll love it!
oh that sounds so good!
They do not have cookie butter in my store but I read on one of the comments that Trader Joe has it, the nearest is about 10 miles from our house so I will look for it next time I am in the area and make this milkshake. It looks/sounds delicious.
It’s the best, I promise! I can’t believe your Trader Joe’s doesn’t sell it!
That looks incredible!!
OMG this sounds so good! We buy Biscoff spread (it’s made of the Biscoff cookies you get on flights) so I am thinking it’s the same thing (or close enough!) I need to go buy ice cream so we can try this today!
I had never heard of cookie butter but this sure sounds delicious!
Ohhh…Yumm!!! That sounds great! I wanna make this tonight. Thanks for the recipe.
I was skeptical of cookie butter, but had to try it, once I found it at Trader Joe’s. The jar did not last long. I bet this milkshake would be really good during the heat of summer.(Not that it wouldn’t be good now, too).
dang that sounds amazing! i’m gonna have to get it the next time i go to trader joes.
I have never heard of coolie butter. I do like milkshakes. I will try it if I ever find cookie butter.
