Warm up with Hot Cocoa

November 14, 2013 by Brittany 4 Comments

The best gifts to give are handmade, I just love feeling the joy of giving gifts with a personal touch. I made these great little hot cocoa gift sets for family and friends this year, and I can’t wait to give these out. I plan to hand these out around Thanksgiving so my family and friends can enjoy a lovely mug of hot cocoa to get them into the Christmas spirit!
I ended up spending less than $2 on each set. You definitely can’t buy a great little gift like this for under $2 at a store!
These were extremely easy to make as well! Learn how to make personalized mugs here.

I included a perfect portion of hot cocoa (3 Tablespoons) and of course a generous handful of marshmallows in a cellophane bag. Then I tented a rectangle of festive scrapbook paper and stapled it to the top of the bags to seal them. Add a Hot Cocoa sticker to hide the staples and voila, you have Hot Cocoa in the cutest packaging! Here’s my pile of scrapbook paper and stickers all ready to go.
They say: ‘Tis the Season for Hot Cocoa” and “Warm your Hearts in an Instant, Just Add Warm Water or Milk.”
Do you need these adorable hot cocoa packets as a stocking stuffer or as part of a hot cocoa gift set? You’re in luck because I included a free printable! Just print these off onto sticker paper and cut them out and you’ll be set!

I hope you enjoy this gift set! Let’s make a lot of people happy without breaking the bank!
What’s your favorite part about the gift set? Do you have someone in mind that you would love to give this to? Let me know in the comments!

Great idea! I wish I could draw, to make a mug like that….but I can definitely make instant cocoa for a gift, if nothing else. 😀
