Quick Pickling Pickles

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup vinegar you could use any vinegar, I used white vinegar
  • 1 TBSP sugar
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup thinly sliced cucumbers
  • optional extras- minced garlic, dill, pickling spices

Method
 

  1. Whisk vinegar, sugar and salt together until sugar and salt are dissolved.
  2. Add vinegar mixture to sliced cucumbers, pressing the cucumbers into the brine.
  3. Add in any extra ingredients (minced garlic, dill, pickling spices, etc.)
  4. Refrigerate covered for at least 1 hour before enjoying, these will keep for two weeks in the refrigerator.
