Ritter Schnitzel

Ingredients
  

  • Brandy Mushroom Sauce
  • Ingredients:
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • half an onion finely chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons flour
  • 2.5 cups beef stock
  • 3 Tablespoons brandy
  • 4 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Method
 

  1. Heat butter in saucepan over medium-high heat, saute onion and mushrooms until soft.
  2. Sprinkle and stir in flour. Then gradually stir in beef stock.
  3. Add brandy, whipping cream, dash of pepper and thyme. Let simmer until sauce thickens.
